We’re delighted to announce that we have invested £250,000 in opening our new facilities in Leeds as we expands our services along the M62 corridor.
Our new base, located at Howley Park Business Village in Leeds will be home to our staffing, logistics, commercial and healthcare divisions and will expand operations across our existing offices in Hull, Leeds, Northampton and Wakefield.
It provides further state-of-the-art facilities for staff, including a new training space and areas for recruitment inductions.
The expansion follows our increasing growth following several notable contract wins in Yorkshire and will further support Sure Logistics’ operations by providing excellent links to the M62 corridor.
It will lead to the creation of several new internal roles as the demand in Sure Group, which already employs more than 300 people nationwide, increases.
Charles Draper, founder and Managing Director of Sure Group, said: “The opening of the Leeds office is the next exciting chapter in our story.
“From being set up in East Yorkshire just over five years ago, we’ve achieved year-on-year growth and more than doubled the turnover from £1.2 million in 2015 to £10 million today.
“A quarter of a million-pound investment is an expensive and ambitious move, but one we believe is essential in realising our ambition to become one of the country’s leading recruitment, logistics and healthcare service businesses.
“The new Leeds base allows us to expand our services and recruit new talent in the West Yorkshire region. We are already in discussion with several organisations and will be announcing some exciting new contracts that will be serviced from the Leeds base soon.”
It was Charles who transformed his innovative idea to make some money to help during his university studies, into a leading recruitment specialist with a multi-million-pound annual turnover.
We started from humble beginnings in logistics recruitment with just a few drivers but have since expanded into different service sectors. We now operate under four divisions:
Charles added: “As a company we pride ourselves on providing a professional recruitment solution and over the years we’ve built a strong reputation through the ability to meet clients’ every need, providing them with the right workforce solution.
“The opening of our Leeds base is a specific focus for our healthcare division to strengthen its outreach in local communities where we will provide the highest standards of homecare support for the vulnerable or less able.
“The new office will also house a team of highly-trained and experienced recruitment consultants, who work tirelessly to find and place people who will make a positive difference to clients, and to connect them with only the very best candidates who have the right skills and can-do attitudes.
“It’s an exciting time for us- we’re expanding into a new city and increasing our efforts to offer reliable employment opportunities as the economy pushes through this turbulent period. Sure Group is going from strength to strength and I can’t see that changing any time soon.”
